The governmental order of Russian Federation from December 21, 2000 #992 creates new
state natural reserve " Erzy ". It is possible to consider (count) this decision
historical — in Russia the 100-th reserve is organized!
The reserve "Erzy" (area of 5970 hectares) is located in the mountains of
Northern Caucasus on a territory Dzheirakhsky of Republic Ingushetia. The territory of
reserve borders on the Chechen Republic, and its security zone (is created by the
governmental order of Republic Ingushetia — on the area in 34240 ha) — with Georgia
and Republic Northern Osetia.
The territory of reserve is unusually picturesque and differs by a high level.
